Pharaoh

History.

Originally named TIMKIN by 1st Owner and shipped out to the Gulf where he worked in the Petro Chem industry.

Extensively sailed in the Red Sea and Mediterranean. Brought back through the French canals to RYE in Sussex, where the present Owner purchased her in 1999.

Brought back to the Royal Engineers Moorings at Upnor and finally to the Medway Yacht Club by the present owner. Named changed to PHARAOH.

Hull and deck are GRP Mouldings to Lloyds requirements..
Encapsulated lead keel 3 tons.
Coachroof, main deck, and cockpit sole are of sandwich construction.

Rudder,
15 Gallon water tank in bilge. N.b. Fuel can be pumped from this tank to the day tank in the stern locker.

Deck Fittings.

Stem head fitting, Fairleads( 2 forward 2 aft) . Mooring Cleats ( 2 Forward 2 Aft). Mooring Bollard on foredeck, Anchor windlass.
Mooring cleats Four two forward two 10” aft. Anchor stowage, drained well and flush hatch on foredeck. Danforth Anchor with 90ft 3/8” galvanised chain. Kedge anchor and two 35lb Plough anchors at home.
Fore Hatch.
Mast aperture with neoprene mast coat. NB. Mast is KEEL STEPPED.
SS pulpit with navn lights.
Stanchions, Genoa track,sheet cleats an Genoaa winches. Laminated ash and mahogany tiller.

Accommodation.

Saloon.

Dinette arrangement on port side converts to two single or one double berth. Two Lockers below and three above.
On starboard side is a settee berth with three lockers below and two lockers and a bookshelf above.
Cabin table is teak with two hinged melamined surface leaves. Book shelf below.
Cushions and curtains.

Chart table on port side facing aft with chart storage beneath.
SS pillar fitted to deck head to assist entry and exit in rough weather.
Drinks cupboard under chart table.
Wet locker to port.

Under the companion way is access to engine and raw water inlet valve. NB Mechanical Engine stop lever fitted.
Rubbish bin fitted behind door.

Galley.
On starboard side with Formica surfaces, icebox and gimballed gas stove with two rings and grill. Storage for plates and cutlery, stainless steel sink.

56 gallon fresh water tank fitted in bilge. Filled by a cover under cabin sole.

Drain valves. Fitted to cockpit, Gas bottle storage, sink and wash basin.

Heads
Blake toilet fitted. Inlet and outlet valves. Port side. Wash basin opposite.

Engine. Watermota 28hp 4 cyl Seapanther marine diesel.
Morse two lever control for gears and throttle fitted.

Electrical.

Two 70 A/hr battery’s (new this year) Spare alternator.

Lighting.

Lights in Saloon, toilet, galley, forward cabin, chart table, port and starboard nav,,stern light, steaming and deck lights,compass light.

Sails.

Mainsail, Lucas. Slab reefing. 2 reefing points. 4 Battens in sail bag at home.
Roller Genoa. Gowans now Dolphin sails.

NB. Main and Genoa regurlary checked and valeted each year at Gowans of West Mersea.
