Medway Yacht Club hosted the Sapper Games on 4th and 5th July. Twenty-two competitors enjoyed some fantastic sailing over the two days in blustery conditions. All the racing took place off the pontoon which allowed quick turnaround of crews using the club’s six RS Zests. After the serious racing was over relay races took part much to the amusement of those watching. The Commanding Officer of Brompton Barracks presented the prizes to the winners. Our thanks to the club’s staff and volunteers who helped make the games such a success.
