Keelboat Conversion Course

Course: RYA Level 1 Adult Start Sailing (Keelboat)

Length of course: 2 days

Timings: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Location: Medway Yacht Club, Lower Upnor, Rochester, Kent, ME2 4XB

This course is an introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision.

Pre-course experience: Prior to attending this course you should be a confident sailor able to demonstrate the techniques and manoeuvres covered on the Dinghy Level 2 sailing course in a variety of conditions, or have equivalent experience.

Course content: how to sail in all directions. refining on the skills and objectives which you would of learnt in the RYA Level 2 dinghy course.

Minimum duration: 2-day course

Minimum age: 16

Format: afloat predominantly practical on the water with some classroom elements.
