It is with great sadness that we let you know of the passing of Helier ‘H’ Long on Wednesday 4th February.
H joined MYC in 1968, initially sailing Hornets and Fireballs. He spent many happy years sailing Serendipity and then Huffler. He loved sailing with the Tuesday group and going on the annual East Coast trip.
Together with his wife Josie, they made many lifelong friends at the Club.
His funeral will be on Friday 6th March at 10am at Thames View Crematorium, with the wake at MYC from 11:30. Anyone wishing to attend please email chantal@withey.uk (for catering purposes)
H never liked wearing a suit & tie so smart/casual will be the order of the day at his funeral.
