DESCRIPTION:Course: RYA Youth Sailing Scheme\, Start Sailing Stage 4 \nLength of course: 2 days \nTimings: 9:30am – 4:00pm Add Form \nLocation: Medway Yacht Club\, Lower Upnor\, Rochester\, Kent\, ME2 4XB \nWho should do this course? \nIf you are a young person (10-16 years old) and interested in having skills to sail in a dinghy in a range of conditions\, this course is for you. \nBuild your confidence and develop the skills needed to sail in different directions in moderate conditions. \nPre-course experience: Sailing skills to the standard of Stage 3 \nAssumed Knowledge: To the standard of Stage 3 \nCourse content: Improved rigging\, sailing theory\, launching and recovery. Building confidence in a range of sailing techniques on all points of sail and capsize recovery \nAbility after course: Able to launch and sail a dinghy on all points of sail or around a triangle in moderate conditions. \nMinimum duration: 2-day course \nMinimum age: 10 years old.
