Covid Update from the Commodore

Dear Members

As you are no doubt aware the Government is introducing new lock down measures. I would like to outline how the Club will operate over the next few weeks.

From Thursday 5th November the bar, galley and Clubhouse toilets will be closed until further notice. I know that this will be a disappointment to our regular galley users, it cannot be avoided.  I hope a return to service on the 2nd December. (Subject to future announcements)

Boat yard operations will continue as normal, if you have booked a lifting out slot this will go ahead as planned.  If changes are necessary then you be will contacted by the office team personally.

I have made the decision that Training and Sailing activities will also be suspended during this period, if you are booked on a course you will be contacted by the training team about the cancellation and any new arrangements.

The office will continue to operate its normal times but Members will not be allowed to enter.  Please email or call with your enquiry.

The AGM will not proceed in its normal format. Details of how this will take place and how you will be able to vote will be communicated over this weekend.

As a Club we want to ensure our staff and members are kept safe so please if you do attend the club – adhere to government guidelines on social distancing, hygiene and the mixing in those not in your household.

I hope we all play our part in keeping everyone safe and well.
