Medway Yacht Club (MYC) as the organising authority on behalf of the UK Wayfarer Association invites Wayfarers to a two day open event regatta for the UKWA Eastern Championship to be held on the River Medway on the 22 and 23 July 2017
- Two days of competitive racing with a maximum six races
- A maximum of four races per day may be sailed
- Excellent shore side facilities
- Fantastic fun and entertainment
Timetable
Friday 21st July
- 18:00 – 20:00 registration and race briefing MYC library
- Casual supper 19.00hrs pay on the night
- Competitors are welcome to arrive on Friday, camp on the MYC campsite adjacent to the MYC clubhouse and prepare their boats.
Saturday 22nd July
- 08:30 – 10:00 registration MYC library
- 10:00 – race briefing MYC library
- The First warning signal for racing will not be before 11:55
- Championship Dinner (dress code –Smart Casual) 19.00hrs at £20.00 per person. As per entry form.
Sunday 23rd July
- 08:30 – 09:30 registration MYC library
- 09:30 – race briefing MYC library
The first warning signal for racing will not be before 10:55- No warning signal will be made after 15:00 hrs

Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded by the UKWA
- Fryer Cup – awarded to the first placed boat overall
- Peter Strauss Memorial Cup – awarded to the winner of the first completed race
Aldeburgh YC Trophy – awarded to the winner of the second completed race- Stone SC Trophy – awarded to the winner of the third completed race
- Dabchicks SC Trophy – awarded to the winner of the fourth completed race
- N&G Trophy – awarded to the first placed lady helm overall
- Fairway Trophy – awarded to the best placed MYC boat overall
- Memento prizes will be awarded
