Regular weekend racing including a new Sunday handicap race for keel boats

21 & 22 May – Club open days as part of RYA “Push the Boat Out” scheme
MYC throws open our doors and invites visitors to come and try sailing and enjoy our outstanding facilities

12 June – 52nd MYC Medway Marathon
Open event, 26 mile course open to monohull dinghies and keel boats less than 30 feet in length

16 – 17 – 18 – 19 June – Wayfarer Nationals
Open event for Wayfarers. Raced over four days.

7 – 8 – 9 – 10 July – MYC Keel Boat Regatta incorporating Sonata Easterns
Open event for keel boats. Raced in four classes under IRC and NHC rating / handicap systems. White sail class for those who do not normally race.

23 July – Honda Youth Rib Championship SE Regional Finals
Regional finals with the winners of age groups going through to national finals

27 – 28 – 29 – 30 July – Mutiny on the Medway
Event for our young Oppie sailors – lots of sailing and other activities

31 July – 1-2-3-4-5- August – Cadet Week
MYC is handed over to MYC Cadets and friends (ages 10 to 23) for a week on site full of outstanding sailing and other activities

4 September – Topper Open

18 September -Commodore’s Day
Racing for all classes, lots of shore-side activity, sail past with cannons, Flag Officers race (toppers!) high tea
