   the field marked "Authorisation code"

- click on "New Subject!" at the bottom of the page.

To add a message to an existing subject:
- click on "Reply to this subject"
- then proceed as for starting a new subject, except that there is now no field for the subject name, and the button at the bottom is labelled "Reply!"

To get out of the forum, close the window, or click on "Squib index" (near the top right of the page).

WARNING
Try not to hit the Enter key (sometines known as the CR or Return key) until you are typing in the message. If you do, it is not a disaster, but it is an inconvenience, and can lead to messages which are blank.
You can move from one field to another by clicking on the desired field, or from one to the next by using the Tab key.

Authorisation code
This has been introduced (in late November 2008) to make it harder for those who have abused our forum to keep doing it.
The initial value of the authorisation code is the MYC race box call-sign, with all letters in lower case, the two parts separated by a hyphen, and no spaces.

Legalistic stuff
This is an unmoderated forum (i.e. an entry is not checked in any way before it appears). Access to it is restricted only by the requirement for an authorisation code; the forum is intended for use by members of the MYC Squib fleet, and other MYC members who have something Squib-relevant to contribute.

In these litigious (and almost thought-policed) times, I think it is necessary for me to say that, if anything apparently actionable appears in this forum then, once I know about it, it will be deleted on my next access to the system. (The same may apply to anything insufficiently relevant to the fleet.)
