We sail every other Sunday from the end of April to the end of October. We start at 0930hrs and finish at 1230hrs.

5th, 6th 7th August - Mutiny

3rd October
17th October

The morning begins with everyone helping to lift the oppies from the racks and placing side by side on the hard.

The children then 'sign on' and are allocated a hull and sailing equipment. This is now their responsibilty. The boats are then rigged and checked.

We discuss how the wind and tide will affect the boats and how each boat will depart the slipway and return to it.

Every child’s life jacket is checked and once the safety boats are afloat we launch.

After sailing, the boats are de-rigged, washed and put back in the racks. All equipment is returned in a fit state to the shed. The children then 'sign off' before getting changed.

PLEASE NOTE: A parent or guardian MUST be present at all times while their children participate in Oppies.
